02 / SOLAR & STORAGE

Generate energy.
Gain flexibility.

Whether you need a small solar installation with a small battery or an industrial energy system: we offer photovoltaics and battery storage to match your needs. Consumption, power and the right storage capacity are key.

Small installation. Big possibilities.

Our offering also includes small solar installations with small battery storage systems for residential and commercial applications. We align the installation and storage system with your energy needs.

At industrial scale, too

Battery systems with a power rating of 1 megawatt and above are also available. Energy capacity is sized for the application in kWh or MWh.

01

Use solar energy when you need it

Match generation and consumption – even when they occur at different times.

02

Assess peak demand

Plan storage power based on your operating load profile and grid connection conditions.

03

Size for the project

Coordinate power, storage duration, space requirements and operating strategy.

UNDERSTANDING STORAGE SIZEIndicative calculation

What storage size fits?

Power × storage duration = energy capacity.

04 / LITHIUM EXTRACTION

From brine
to a resource for the future.

Direct lithium extraction (DLE) using low-voltage direct-current adsorption. A technology for selectively extracting lithium from raw brine.

Extract selectively.
Think modular.

Active electrode materials selectively capture lithium ions and release them into a lithium-rich solution. The solution is then processed into the desired lithium product.

01 / FEED

Pretreat raw brine

Analyse the brine composition and determine the required pretreatment.

02 / SEPARATION

Selectively enrich lithium

Electrochemical capture and release in the electrosorption stage.

03 / PRODUCT

Produce lithium salts

Purification, concentration and conversion into the desired product.

POSSIBLE PRODUCT ROUTES

The target product determines the process.

Li₂CO₃

Electrosorption followed by membrane concentration, including nanofiltration and reverse osmosis, then precipitation.

  2. 02

    Explore the options

Discuss products, technology and project conditions.

  3. 03

    Define the offer

Bring together the scope of supply, technical requirements and commercial terms.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Do you also offer small solar installations and small batteries?

Yes. Small solar installations and suitable small battery storage systems are part of our offering, alongside larger systems for business and industry. Sizing depends on consumption, local conditions and the intended use.

Are battery systems above 1 MW possible?

Yes. Battery systems with a power rating of 1 MW and above are available. The appropriate energy capacity in MWh depends on storage duration and the application.

What information helps with a storage enquiry?

Location, load profile, photovoltaic power, desired storage power, storage duration, grid connection conditions and project timeframe provide a useful starting point.

Which brines is the lithium technology intended for?

The technology documentation describes applications for chloride, sulphate and carbonate brines. Suitability for a specific deposit must be assessed through brine analysis and project-specific trials.

Can I request products to specification?

Yes. Please provide a product description, technical specifications, required quantity, intended application and desired delivery timeframe.

LITHIUM / TECHNICAL CONTEXT

Technology with defined limits.

Low-voltage direct-current adsorption uses selective electrode materials to capture and release lithium ions. The documentation gives the following indicative values:

Enriched lithium solution
3.5–6 g/L
Electricity consumption of the electrosorption stage
approx. 3,000 kWh/t LCE
Freshwater consumption of the electrosorption stage
approx. 50–80 t/t LCE

LCE means lithium carbonate equivalent. The product overview gives different consumption figures for individual models. Stage-specific values must not be equated with consumption across the entire production line.

Required for project assessment

Brine analysis, feed volume, lithium content, other constituents, target product, available energy and water resources, and intended annual production.
